Speakers:

Imam Zaid Shakir

A leading Islamic scholar, author, and co-founder of Zaytuna College, Imam Zaid Shakir is recognized for his deep knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence and his efforts to bridge faith and civic engagement in America. A former U.S. Air Force veteran and holder of multiple degrees, he is a prominent voice in both spiritual and academic circles.

Azam Nizamuddin

Attorney and adjunct professor of Islamic Law at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Azam Nizamuddin is a practicing lawyer with extensive experience in civil litigation and interfaith affairs. He has lectured nationally on topics related to Islamic law, ethics, and constitutional issues, and formerly served as General Counsel for the American Muslim Council.

Moderator: Raheela Ahsan

Raheela Ahsan is an experienced attorney and community advocate, known for her work in civil rights and social justice. She brings a thoughtful and engaging presence as moderator, guiding the conversation with clarity and depth.
